I specialise in supporting people who have or are experiencing distress / trauma

I am a Behaviour Analyst who specialises in working with people who are experiencing distress. In one area of my life I am the Director of a Training organisation working in Health and Social Care to reduce individuals distress and the distress experienced by those carers who support them. I am also co-founder of the family support project assisting families in similar situations.

My values have a grounding in assisting people and I have always been fascinated by behaviour. What leads that person to do that?

Over the past 30 years I have studied many different areas from neural networks and digital modelling of damaged brains to a Masters in Psychology. However I have thirsted for more knowledge throughout this period.

After becoming a Behaviour Analyst I became drawn to the aspects of that field that could be used in everyday life, for everyday people, such as you and me.

I spent a lot of time about a decade ago delivering content regarding Positive Psychology which has had a profound impact on my life and countless people I am delivered training and consultancy to.

However ACT culminates these things into simple daily living processes. None of it is "rocket science" however we do have a scientific grounding in Behavioural Science and Evolutionary Science.

Within the work I am currently doing supporting people we are focused usually 1:1 or in small groups. There is wider larger group work - please see the prosocial.uk page for information about wider scale work.
